I'm a newly graduated PMHNP with a passion for helping others through the intersection of healthcare and technology—particularly with AI. I bring 13 years of experience as an RN, which has given me a deep understanding of patient care and the complexities of the healthcare system. Diagnosed with ADHD at 38, my life changed as I uncovered the unique strengths that come with the ADHD brain. Now, I dedicate myself to helping others discover the same, using a strengths-based approach and leveraging AI to ease challenges and highlight the advantages that ADHD brings.
I'm nearly finished writing my book, "(re)D.E.F.I.N.E. your ADHD. Live your H.E.R.O.E.S. journey," which shares insights from my lived experience as an adult with ADHD, combined with my professional perspective as an RN and PMHNP. My journey into understanding ADHD inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a PMHNP, and after graduation, I finally wrote the book I'd been planning for years. My goal is to guide others toward embracing their diagnosis and living authentically, supported by both community and technology.
My passion for AI started in February 2022, and since the advent of ChatGPT, I've been exploring how this revolutionary technology can change mental healthcare. I believe in leveraging AI to create automated support systems and tools that reduce the executive functioning load for those with ADHD and make healthcare more accessible and compassionate.
